1. Overview
At Zhagara Mangai, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy explains when and how we process refunds for orders placed on our website. We accept online payments through Razorpay (cards, net banking, UPI) and Cash on Delivery (COD) for eligible areas.
2. Payment Gateway – Razorpay
Online payments on our website are processed securely by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. When a refund is approved for an order paid online, we initiate the refund through Razorpay. The refund will be credited to the same source used for payment (e.g. card, UPI, net banking). Razorpay and your bank or payment provider may take 5–10 business days (or as per their policy) to reflect the amount in your account. We do not control this timeline once the refund is initiated.
3. Eligibility for Refunds and Returns
You may be eligible for a refund or return in the following cases:
- Damaged or defective product: If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or not as described, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with details and (if possible) photos. We may offer a replacement or a full refund.
- Wrong item shipped: If we have shipped the wrong product, we will arrange a replacement or full refund once the error is confirmed.
- Cancellation before shipment: If you cancel your order before it is shipped, we will process a full refund for online payments via Razorpay. For COD orders cancelled before dispatch, no payment is collected.
- Order not delivered: If your order is not delivered within the communicated timeframe and the issue is due to us or our logistics partner, we may offer a refund or reshipment as appropriate.
4. Non-Refundable Situations
We generally do not offer refunds in these cases:
- Change of mind or no longer wanting the product after delivery.
- Product used, opened, or tampered with (unless defective).
- Return request made after the specified return window (e.g. more than 7 days after delivery) unless we have agreed otherwise.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund or return:

- We will verify the request and inform you whether a refund or replacement is approved.
- For approved refunds on online payments, we will initiate the refund through Razorpay. The amount will be credited to your original payment method as per Razorpay and bank timelines.
- For COD orders, if a refund is approved (e.g. for non-delivery or defective product), we will arrange the refund via bank transfer or another method we agree upon.
6. Partial Refunds
In some cases we may offer a partial refund (e.g. for minor issues or partial order fulfilment). This will be communicated to you at the time of resolution.
